    Program Overview:

We all know what we have to do, but very few of us actually do what we have to do… This is certainly true for new employee onboarding. No matter the size, depth, reach, and resources of any size organization, we can’t seem to get it right. Once the cancer spreads, the treatment becomes more intense. Remission doesn’t equate to being cured, it’s always there and will always require our attention.

This presentation explores the critical elements of successful new employee onboarding, focusing on diagnosing common challenges and implementing evidence-based strategies to enhance retention, engagement, and performance. We will dissect the onboarding process into its key components— preboarding, orientation, training, and integration—examining how each stage impacts a new hire's experience. Using real-world examples and case studies, we’ll highlight effective practices and common pitfalls. Attendees will leave with actionable insights to design or improve their onboarding programs to drive organizational success.
