SHRM Certification

    What is HR Certification?

HR certification is a career-long commitment that demonstrates dedication, credibility and a mastery of the principles of human resources to your employers, clients, staff members and professional peers around the globe. Certification attests to the investment you have made in your HR career and holds a recognized place in the profession.

    How does it work?

To become certified, you must meet strict professional experience and educational requirements before taking the exam. To remain certified, you must stay current in the HR profession and recertify every three years. You display your certification by putting the credential after your name.

John Moore, SPHR, True North Wellness Services
“The journey to HRCI accreditation is filled with opportunities to increase one’s knowledge of the Human Resources profession.  As broad as it is long, I was motivated to learn more than I had imagined could have existed.  The study course allowed me to explore areas in which I had felt a reasonable comfort level but also concentrations which I had little or no expertise.  By the end of my study course, I had gathered additional tools to improve my knowledge of the HR field.  One of the most important gains were the people I met and grew to know better throughout the course and some for many years to come.  I would highly recommend the pursuit of HRCI certification for what you can gain and for what you can give back to others because of the experience.”
