Scott Ellsworth is the Principal and Owner of Sherpa Management Solutions.  Sherpa Management Solutions offers fractional and interim management support to small businesses whose owners are ready to transition their business to the next generation or new owners.  Scott provides operations leadership and support to business owners to make that transition successfully.

Scott is also an expert in apprenticeships, work-based learning and workforce development, having spent 10 years working with business owners, educators and policy makers to improve the skills of the US workforce.  As the former Director of Business Leaders United for Workforce Partnerships, a Washington DC based advocacy and education organization that brings employers into the workforce and skills gap discussion, he helped to shape the US workforce landscape.

Prior to BLU, for 12 years Scott was GM and Vice President of US operations for Tipco Punch, Inc, a Hamilton Ohio company.  Tipco is a multinational manufacturer and distributor of tooling components and special small lot, close tolerance machined parts.
