Both the employer and employee are greatly affected by the employee being on a workers' compensation leave of absence.  Considering the many direct and indirect costs of administering and managing an employee's workers' comp, returning the employee to work and caring for the employee's sustainment are vital to meet business needs long-term.  This seminar will review:

    • The costs of leave of absence
    • RTW strategies
    • Program management
    • Impacts on the business

Speaker:  Sarah Tayts is the Return to Wellness (RTW) Specialist for Eastern Alliance Insurance Group (www.eains.com), a casualty insurance company specializing in workers' compensation insurance products and services.  In this role, she oversees the ecovery® program, Eastern's innovative, holistic approach to help injured workers achieve wellness and productivity by using work as a therapeutic tool.  Sarah works directly with EAIG insured employers, team members and agency partners to find effective and productive modified duty solutions customized to meet individual physical, psycho-social, and financial needs.

Sarah is a member of the Disability Management and Return to Work Committee of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC).  She lectures and blogs extensively on this subject and conducts webinars and educate stakeholders on RTW best practices and benefits.  She also has been a co-presenter at the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers' Compensation Conference, has been featured in the "Leaders Speak" blog on WorkCompWire (a leading industry online news and information service), and writes regularly on www.ecoveryRTW.blogspot.com.

Sarah holds a BA degree in Psychology from Millersville University, an MA degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and designations as an Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of America.

    PSECU

Wouldn’t it be great to increase your benefits package without increasing your expenses? As an employer, enhancing your benefits package by offering PSECU credit union membership provides a value-added advantage with No Cost to your company.

PSECU understands that the cost of providing benefits for your employees can be significant. But to attract, and keep, the best workers, a good benefits package is necessary.

Financially stressed employees cost your company money in increased health care costs, and decreased productivity. You can add a benefit that will enhance your employees’ lives without costing your company a cent. We also know that your time is valuable, so we make it easy for you to offer this benefit. Once you become a Select Employee Group, we do all the work to advise your staff of this new benefit.

To learn more about offering PSECU membership as a no cost, no obligation benefit, please contact me.  We’ve helped hundreds of businesses and organizations across Pennsylvania. We would be pleased to do the same for yours.
