About Us

As an affiliate of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Hanover Area Human Resource Association will partner with businesses in the greater Hanover area to: expand Human Resource skills and knowledge through training and education; networking with HR and business professionals; exchange ideas, information and experiences; and other support services.

Meet HAHRA's Officers

Ashley Zinn, President: Ashley graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and later completed her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Walden University. Her career in Human Resources began in Austin, Texas with St. David’s Healthcare in 2010. Currently Ashley is the Vice President of Human Resources for WellSpan Health and holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-CP certifications. Ashley joined HAHRA in 2016 and serves as President of the Chapter and Chair to the Legislative Committee. Ashley and her family reside in Hanover. Her family enjoys supporting Delone Catholic Cross Country and Track & Field programs along with traveling and spending time outdoors.

Zulma Mendez, Treasurer: Zulma is a Human Resources Manager with 10+ years of HR management experience and over 16 years in the staffing industry. She has notable experience in performance management, staffing, employment contract negotiations, employee benefits, compensation and payroll, training and development, and management coaching. Zulma attended DeVry University for Computer Information Systems and Business Management. She has a certification in Theology Studies and is a Certified Life Coach where she dedicates her life’s work to helping individuals with their career choices as well as establish and build indispensable partnerships. Zulma enjoys spending time with her daughter, son, and friends. In her spare time, you will find Zulma dancing, skating, hiking, working out or reading a good book.

Heather Lubitz, Secretary: Heather lives in Hanover with her husband, their two boys, and Siberian Husky. She is a global HR Advisor at ManpowerGroup. She has a combined 10+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. Some of her hobbies include learning about the history of her town, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Last year, Heather earned her SHRM-CP and is excited to continue learning and growing within the HR field.
